2006 Dexter Girl Scout Holiday Bazaar


Important Dates

November 9 -- Pay for Registration and Patch orders at SUM (click here for Registration)

November 15 -- Deadline for Booth Registration and Patch orders

December 1 - 2:30p.m. - 4:00 p.m. -- Table set up

                        6:00 p.m.-8:00p.m. -- Booth set up

December 2 - 7:30 a.m.--Doors open for booth set up

9:00 a.m.-- Bazaar begins

3:00 p.m.-- Bazaar ends

3:00-4:00 p.m.-- Hall clean up

 


Please read the following information and pass it along to your families

 

Fee We will hire a member of the church to oversee security at the bazaar. Participants will share the cost of this fee. Please bring a check for $5 per table made payable to *Dexter Service Unit* to the November 9th SUM.

Patches are $1 each. Patch request must be made by November 15th.  Patches will be distributed at the bazaar. Make checks payable to Tami Tucker.

 

Booth Setup Friday Dec 1, 6PM-8PM and Sat Dec 2 from 7:30AM-9AM. Troops and families will be able to set up their crafts at this time.

Special Requests This includes requiring electrical plugs near your table, location preference, or doing a “Make It and Take It” project at your table. Please let me know by Nov 15th of any special requests.

Clean Up The Girl Scouts are responsible for cleaning up the church and setting the tables to the way specified by the church. When setting up your families *shifts*, please plan for helpers to be available until 4pm. Cleanup duties consist of moving and taking down table, sweeping, and clean the halls. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!!!
 

Donations I will have boxes available for the troops to donate extra crafts to area charities.
 

Volunteers Please notify me if your troop would be interested in volunteering for:

v   Organizing the donations at the end of the Bazaar

v   I am looking for some older troops that can come right after school to help set up the tables, etc. for the bazaar. Leaders or parents can bring troops over right after school at 2:30 PM and plan on being there until 4 PM. We will provide pizza and pop for our workers. If your troop is looking for service hours, or they would just like to come & help haul tables, it would be greatly appreciated.

v   People to pass out flyers from 8am-10am
